Terms of use

The fine print, kept short.

The short version

Lite is a timer, not a doctor. Use it however helps you, check with a professional before long or frequent fasts, and know that the app is provided as is.

Using Lite

By downloading or using Lite, you agree to these terms and to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. You may use Lite for personal, non-commercial purposes on any Apple device you own or control.

Not medical advice

Fasting phases, durations, and descriptions in Lite are general information based on averages. They aren't medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Fasting isn't right for everyone, including people who are pregnant, nursing, under 18, or managing diabetes or an eating disorder. Talk to a doctor before you start.

Your data

Your fasting history belongs to you. It's stored on your device and in your private iCloud, as described in our privacy policy. You're responsible for keeping your device and Apple ID secure.

Price and purchases

Your first 3 fasts are free. After that, Lite is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one time lifetime purchase, all through the App Store. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your Apple ID settings, and Apple's payment and refund terms apply.

No warranty

Lite is provided as is and as available. We work hard to keep it accurate and reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of bugs, always available, or that your data can never be lost.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages from using Lite, including health outcomes or lost data. Nothing here limits rights you have under local consumer law.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as Lite grows. We'll change the date at the top when we do, and continuing to use Lite means you accept the update. Questions? Email hello@litefasting.com.
